To Cleveland with Love

During our time in Cleveland, OH, we had the privilege of meeting, blessing, and being blessed by Ms. Dolores.

We were able to give Ms. Dolores one of our large gift bags, a snack pack, and a pamp(her) bag. As we were talking with Ms. Dolores she asked if it was possible to get her some hot food. And, of course we said “Yes!” We asked what she wanted to eat, and she said Arby’s. We then asked her what she would like from Arby’s and without missing a beat, just like a fiery and fun auntie she answered, "Don't they have two for one, right now? I'll take one of each, please." And, so Ms. Dolores got one of each and a little more! (Sidebar: A big THANK YOU shoutout to the general manager, Melissa A., at the Arby's in downtown Cleveland for her excellent hospitality and customer service! She heads a great team.)

For 52Love/Granny's Girls this is what "The Give Felt Around the World" Summer of Giving is all about. Meeting our fellow Americans and honoring, uplifting, and making memories with them! It may be only a small thread in the fabric of their lives, but we hope it is an impactful one! We were honored to honor Ms. Dolores, and she was so grateful. As we left, with the quiet appreciation of a proud auntie she said, "I truly appreciate y’all for doing this for me." This is 52Love.
